This report displays a special summary data table that can be used to calculate almost any financial ratio imaginable. The summary data in this report is produced by applying the Account Types assigned in the company’s account lines in Profit Plan’s main Account Setup window to the associated raw account data entered on the Assumptions and Data Entry sheet. Use the Summary Totals Report as a diagnostic tool to help find account type assignment errors if the Options / Proof Financials menu selection indicates the financials do not ‘proof" (add up properly.) It should be readily apparent from this report what values are adding into which account type totals. You can also use this report to view each component in the fixed and variable cost computations associated with the Break-Even report.
