The BizPlan tab provides a very compact workspace designed to bring together those element you might need as you begin translating the planning effort into the memos and reports needed to implement them.

The format and method of communication will be strongly colored by the existing methodologies within the firm and those required by external forces, such as your bank representative. Therefore Profit Plan provides the workspace, content outline and samples. Your actual output is in your hands.

The BizPlan tab was developed using "slider" windows. To adjust, you simply place the mouse on a window frame and drag as appropriate to expose more of the pane of interest at the moment. These panes include:

	Planning Outlines Topics include Project Plans, (one for each project you add to to your profit plan), Summary Business Plan, Detail Business Plan, and generic Loan Application.
	Topic Issues This pane is linked to the outline and contains detail issues to consider.
	Sample Text A sample Summary Business Plan is included for your perusal.
	Project Financials This pane includes a financial details sheet for each project on the Assumptions Sheet. Each project account line created in your profit plan is shown under an individual tab created for each project. (These sheets are similar to Excel, so you can do totals and other calculations there as you develop your plan or memo.
	Word Processor Workspace

This is a full blown word processor, on par with Write or WordPad. It's advantages are direct access to all the rest of Profit Plan's data while working; and its ease of use.

Although the BizPlan workspace word processor can produce a perfectly adequate final report, you may wish to transfer portions of the output to specially designed presentation tools, such as PowerPoint. Your plan can be saved in a "rich text format (RTF) output file format for easy transfer into such applications.
